Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect only what we need to reply to you and to deliver the course you bought. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch this site. We don't run analytics, we don't sell your information, and you can email us any time to see, fix, or delete what we have.
What we collect
When you use the contact form. Your name, your email address, and the message you write. That's it.
When you buy the course. Your name, your email address, and the status of your payment (paid or not), which Stripe reports back to us. Your card number and billing details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and handled by Stripe. We never see or store them.
Basic technical data. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (things like your IP address, browser type, and the pages you requested) for a limited time so the site stays secure and working. We don't add anything on top of that.
How we use it
- To reply when you write to us.
- To deliver the course: send your welcome email, the links to your course videos and materials, and instructions for booking your calls with Shannon Nossum.
- To send purchase receipts (Stripe sends those on our behalf).
- To spot and prevent fraud or abuse, such as chargebacks or sharing of course access.
- To meet legal and tax obligations, like keeping records of sales.
We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't send marketing emails you didn't ask for.
Who handles your data for us
A few outside services do specific jobs. Each one only gets what it needs for that job:
- Stripe processes payments. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what happens on its checkout page: stripe.com/privacy.
- Resend sends our emails, including contact-form replies, the course welcome email, and purchase notifications.
- Vercel hosts this site and keeps the server logs described above.
- YouTube (Google) hosts the course videos as unlisted videos. We send you the links by email and on the course access page. When you watch on YouTube, Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
Watching the course videos on YouTube is subject to YouTube's own terms and privacy practices, which we don't control.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone else except when the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't use analytics or tracking tools, and it doesn't set advertising cookies. The only thing it stores in your browser is a small note when you dismiss the banner at the top of the page, so it stays dismissed for a week.
When you go to Stripe's checkout page, Stripe may set its own cookies to run the checkout securely and prevent fraud. Those are Stripe's, not ours.
How long we keep it
- Contact-form messages stay in our email inbox for as long as they're useful to the conversation. Email us if you'd like one deleted.
- Purchase records (name, email, what you bought, when, and how much) are kept for as long as you have access to the course and for as long as tax and accounting rules require afterward.
- Server logs are kept by Vercel for a short, rolling window and then discarded.
Your choices
You can email us at Christian@AwesomeNossum.com to:
- ask what information we have about you,
- correct something that's wrong,
- ask us to delete your information (we may need to keep purchase records that the law requires us to retain), or
- ask a question about any of this.
We'll respond within a reasonable time, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site and the course are for adults. They aren't directed to anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll say so plainly on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
